It’s Complicated: Misconceptions
An unexpected tragedy causes Laila to weave a web of heartbreak, betrayal, and deception, with three women, all of whom fall have fallen deeply in love with her. Laila’s dilemma explores how, in the blink of an eye, jealousy and doubt can cause everything to spin completely out of control. Laila finds herself caught up in her thoughts, and making the tough decision to disconnect from Tori, the wife she thought she’d love forever, when Tori appears to be cheating.
What happens next is more than she bargained for. She finds lust with a stripper and romance with a personal assistant.
Will love be enough to keep Laila with any of her women, or will deception, heartbreak, and betrayal take their toll?
I gave this book five stars, why because I kept holding my breath on every chapter. This story kept me anxiously awaiting what’s she (Laila) going to do now to further mess up her love life.
I don’t condone what Laila did but if you really analyze the situation with Tori she just had to try and move on. The whole damn thing could have been avoided if Tori would have trusted her partner and tell her the truth.
This book is so awesome and I hope that when I recommend it to my friends they not only read it but enjoy it like I did. Well worth the read.
This book is absolutely wonderful. I started and finished it in 1 day. It’s definitely a page turner and I can’t wait to read part two. Thanks again Erika for accepting my request on facebook and responding promptly to my question in reference to part two.
Oh what happens when we don’t have all the facts and run on emotion alone! This was a very entertaining book (but difficult to read at times). When you mess with others lives, there are prices to be paid. The bill always comes due. Teaches you to think things through BEFORE you do something all of your instincts are telling you to avoid. I hope the next one is just as good!
