Residual Affects is a poetry book that is supplemented with photography. Half of the poetry pieces are commentary on life situations while the other half of the book has a war related theme. The poetry and photographs featured in this book are the creative responses to the author’s and photographer’s bout with PTSD, stemming from their deployment to Iraq between 2005 and 2006.
Awesome work! Can’t wait to see what’s in store for the future…much respect and hats off to both of you.
I greatly enjoyed reading Residual Affects as well as examining the complimentary photography. I’ve read many of the poems several times. My favorites are: Water falls, Lost Identity, Adrenalin, and Osho & Kush..just to name a few. I’m proud of to see 2 women working together to push through the traumas of war. Keep up to positive work ladies!
